Iraq VS Yemen

The Iraqi national team won today, Saturday evening, against its Yemeni counterpart "1-0" in the start of the Gulf Cup for Veterans, hosted by Kuwait at Jaber Al-Mubarak Stadium in Al-Sulaibikhat Club with the participation of 8 teams and will last for 5 days.

The match, which was held within the competitions of the second group in its first half, was of a good level, especially from the Iraqi team, which quickly scored the winning goal through its player Karrar Jassim in the fourth minute of this half after a shot from inside the penalty area.

The Yemeni team tried to return to the match in the second half, but the experience of the Iraqi players led the match to safety, so Iraq gained its first three points, while the Yemeni team remained without points in the group that also includes the Saudi and Bahraini teams, which will meet later today.
